This is one of my favorite blouses ever. The buttons are hidden underneath a pleat, which I love, and the gigantic bow is like the cherry on top. The watch was gifted to me from my mom. She did really well at her old company so when the time came, they offered her a bundle of gifts to choose from. Between a Dooney & Bourke bag, this wrist watch, and a handful of other goodies, she picked the watch and ended up wearing it everyday. Twenty something years later, she retired it to me :) now I wear this watch everyday. In fact, I have a pretty rad tanline from it.

Our Masculine Feminine nights have become quite the shindig! I love seeing all the people dance to our music, and I especially love listening to Christine's sets; she has such great style. My dear friend Atalia guest DJed for us and she too played a really great set. All the girls (a.k.a. just me) went crazy as soon as she threw on the Marvin Gaye <3

Since I'm taking on more classes this semester, I'm cutting the DJ gigs down to just once a month rather than doing the weekly thing. As much as I love it, my commitment is with school so unfortunately you'll be seeing a lot more boring posts nowadays. Suckas!

It Feels So Good In The Bay...

Tonight!

Even though this will only be my second time spinning, something tells me it'll be really good... maybe because I'll be more familiar to it this time around.

The first time I spun was indescribable... all I knew was that I simply wanted more. Seeing people feed off the energy that I threw out was unreal. This whole week, I've been going back to that night and remembering all the good vibes. It keeps me going; I still get chills thinking about it while practicing alone in my room. I'm going to do this until it becomes second nature.

I spun for the first time last night! It was an incredible experience and I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you Christine and Lynnsee for letting me spin, thank you NVG for guiding me, thank you Atalia and Amanda for lending me moral support, and thank you Eugie for encouraging me. I love you guys.
