I was laying in bed stirring before I realized the Target x Missoni collection was making its debut today. With a jolt, I realized I had only twelve minutes to get to the nearest Target. I got dressed, ran out of the house, got in my car, and fucking booked it but by the time I got there, half the racks were already wiped clean. Nevertheless, I went in with my fingers crossed to go for what I was after.

I made my way over to the shoes. And there it was, shining like a beacon in the Target florescent lighting: the only box left and (check!) the ballet flats I wanted were my size. I grabbed the box then quickly made my way out, pausing to grab two tumblers along the way. "But where's everything else?" I thought. Unfortunately, this Target was low on stock because some of the items (including the next thing on my checklist: my beloved Post-It looking thingy) accidentally got shipped to the other Target location across town. Fuck. Well... I really wanted that Post-It looking thingy so here we go.

It was 9:15 when I arrived at Target #2 and as I walked toward the front doors, an overweight, SUV driving, stuffy looking woman threatened to enter the building at the same time. Neither one of us stopped to let the other one through and as I paused to look at her, I saw that she had that batshit crazy "I need a kitchen full of plastic Missoni dishware NOW" look in her eyes. Little did she know that I was heading for the Office Supplies section where my beloved Post-It thingy was to be found.

To sum up my story, I ended up getting exactly what I wanted! Here are my new purchases:
